The first few items are inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright. There's not much worth buying, though I am fond of the lamps and the bowl, which you can find on the second page.

Simply Blue - Make Over
Model - Kirsten (girlgirl60)
~~
So today I'm going to be showing you a simple blue themed medoll, which can actually work for any colour, you just have to have the same coloured eyeliner.
~~
Well, lets start on the eyes. As far as you can tell, it's quite basic, apply black liner and black eye shadow on the edge (area) of the eye, as seen above. Secondly, apply a blue coloured shadow on the middle of your eyelid, same goes for the eye liner, which must be the same colour, or very close to that colour. Lastly, apply a white liner and shadow on the edge of the eyelid closest to the nose.
~~
As well as the eye make up, the blush it quite straight forward as well. Apply a natural coloured blusher on your cheeks, then lightly cover it with red.
~~
Hair and accessories are optional.
~~
So, hope you enjoyed this Make Over tutorial thingy, See you shortly.

HB Cluster Necklace - Epiphany - 15sd {+comp}
My Opinion;
This is very on trend at the moment, with the crosses, but I've personally never been a fan of them as a fashion accessory since I just think, if you're not religious then why are you wearing crosses? But I'm going to put aside my view on that for a moment to say that this is I suppose a nice necklace since I think chunky necklaces are great since they're so versatile. I love the colours of the varying silver and the bright contrasting pink. The price is okay I suppose, but if I looked at it without knowing the price, I'd probably guess it was 8-10sd, but 12sd at a push.
What To Wear With?;
This is a very versatile necklace and can easily be dressed up or down. I'd say it would probably look best with skinny jeans of any colour, particularly navy blue or deep plum. You could also pair this necklace with another trend; the peplum top.
**
Competition;
Everyone loves a good competition! All you have to do is put together an outfit to go with this necklace and submit you entries to this topic, or the comments section below. Entries have to be in by six o'clock tomorrow, and I'll choose the top few to go into a poll.
Antidote vs. look a like's :outfit tutorial
So antidote is a pretty popular shop on stardoll and many clothing items sell out fast, so i thought i would show you someother clothing items that look abit like antidote.
first:
The antidote happy denim jacket costs a very high price of 74sd. I personally think thats too much of a high price considering its just a denim jacket. Alot of people can't afford antidote so i personally think the starcoin copy of the jacket is a good price of only 104sc for the it girls jacket and evil panda pins.

second:
The antidote birch sunset skirt costs 73sd. This item is also a high price like the happy denim jacket. I personally wouldn't buy the skirt unless i was going to sell it in the future. I found some other skirts that are similar style to the antidote skirt are -
2 - pretty in love - native chic skirt - 114sc
3 - tingeling - bali hibiscus skirt - 11sd
4 - bonjour bizou- saphire seaweed skirt - 12sd
5 - tingeling - paradise skirt - 8sd
i think these similar skirts are very nice and alot cheaper than the antidote version.

Covergirl & national covergirl review 16/10/12
So today i'm going to review the covergirl winner and the national covergirl from turkey. I have reviewed the national covergirl from turkey as the creativity from her outfit caught my eye.
Today's covergirl is called supernicol0001 and she is from poland. First of all i like her outfit, although theres no creativity about it,i still think the colour of the oufit goes with the little bit of makeup her doll has on. The makeup is applied well but there's not alot of it. She also hasn't included any accessories with her outfit, which i think was needed. Overall i don't she's one of the worse doll's that have won. If she was more creative with her outfit i think she would have scored a higher mark Overall her doll was better than yesterdays but still not amazing.

National covergirl - turkey
The national covergirl from turkey is called superElizas. I have done this review on her because the creativity of her outfit caught my eye. First of all her outfit is pretty cool with the hair design legs and arm made by herself which cost her 167sd. Even though this outfit is very creative i thought it looked abit weird how the legs were very high and it kind of looks like her legs have just stuck up by her waist. I didn't really get the whole look because i think the legs are too high and if they have been positioned differently then i would have felt it worked better. I visited her suite to see if i understood the whole look better and worked out it is supposed to look like shes sitting down. I think if she had positioned the legs better and lower it would have looked better.Overall i think she is more creative and more deserving than today's covergirl.

In the Navy - Make Over
Model - Georgia (NerdGirlxxx)
So, this is my first make up tutorial-like picture whatchamacallit (basically a make over).
This make up was inspired mainly by the Navy uniform of navy blue and white, with the optional red and black.
The eye make up is mainly black, dark/navy blue and white, in which you can also add a small amount of red if you want more colour to your medoll. I also added a small amount of white eye shadow below the eyebrow.
~~
The lipstick is a technique which I'd found on another blog a small time ago, where you apply a much darker colour (black, brown, dark red etc.) on the upper lip, then cover it with a lighter shaded lipstick (Note - Be careful to only apply one layer of light lipstick). Gloss is also an option.
~~
Blush was quite simple, just apply the blush on the edge of your medoll's face, make sure you don't go crazy.
~~
Hair and other accessories are optional, but the look is meant to be quite natural without any piercings or mole art covering the face.
~~
So, that's it, I guess. Hope you liked it, see you shortly.

Covergirl review
Todays covergirl is a girl called jfkfkfkfk who is from Denmark. Who's doll isn't that unique and is quite plain considering she's a superstar. Her doll has hardly any makeup and hardly any accessories.What makeup she has on is mostly pink and i think shes following some kind of pink theme. Her outfit is quite nice but isn't amazing and isn't very creative. Her suite is also plain and looks like alot of non ss suites. I think her doll is just like any other doll and other doll's i've seen deserve it more. Her doll is ok but i think it could be a doll that would blend in to the background with other dolls very easily.

Fashion fix - The Latest Trends #1
Hello! One of my other segments is the Latest Trends and how to achieve them on your doll & clothes. This is my first post on this, so hopefully you enjoy it.
This season it's all about Dip Dye!
Okay, so this trend has been around for a while, but recently it seems more fashionable. I personally really like the look, especially on dark hair with lighter ends.

I think it works really well on long hair, and looks really good on short! Here are some different ways to do this on your doll-
I have tried to do a teal dip dye using the stardesign hair and I think it has a good effect.
As you can see,there is a wide range of different combinations to choose from. Get dying!

Interview with Tizz(tizz101)
I am interviewing Tizz today. Tizz has a twin sister, Hannah and has been in SBC and SBB for a while.
What is the main reason you come on stardoll?
I normally come on just to chat with everyone from SBB, I don't really know what i like about it.
What do you dislike about it?
That you have to pay to become an SS.
Where is your main club/clubs?
Well it was SBC until that died. I did go back yesterday but that was it.
During your time in different/one club, what would you say was the biggest drama/funniest event or happening?
probabley the biggeset drama, when sarah made a point about kimberely making a club so that she could go back on her old user.
What is it that you like about coming to clubs such as SBB?Who are your friends?
Idk, i think since i've made lots of friends from SBC && SBB its mainly coming back and chatting with them and having a laugh.
i don't think I'll be able to name them kirsten, georgia, georgia#2, allie, anji, flo, tessa, lauren, izzy, you aha, una, kimberley, kaylee, i can go on (;
How long have you been on stardoll?
since sometime in 2011
What are some of your hobbies apart from the internet?
swimming, guides, football, cycling && netball
Have you achieved anything on the site? What?
Nope, apart from new friends.

HB Teal Strap Platforms - Original Future - 13sd
My Opinion;
I quite like these shoes, but I don't think they look like Hot Buys to me, they just look like your generic pair of shoes from Original Future. The straps around the ankles are a nice touch, and I like the contrasting teal and black. The only reason I won't be buying these is because of the reasons previously mentioned, and the fact they don't look like they're worth 13sd.
What To Wear With?;
These shoes are quite versatile, even with the teal. They could be casual with a nice pair of black skinny jeans and a loose fit top, a skater girl skirt and crop top, or dressed up with a simple black bodycon dress and a dark teal belt. Spice it up with some coral lipstick and you're good to go!
Panorama Room;
So I just saw this message from Stardoll;
and I think it's quite a nice idea for those with a flair for interior decorating (so not me, I'm awful at it) but the price is extortionate in my opinion, I'll let you decide that for yourself though. I just think of many room ideas that would be big (is that the right word?) enough to fit into the room, as it's three times bigger than the generic room.
MSW Finalists Announced;
^click the picture to be taken to the MSW page.
Who are you betting on to win?
Many people are betting on the French rojda32 or the Russian Kusja to win due to their recent rise to Stardoll fame thanks to their interesting designs. However, after a quick browse through the finalists, I would say that there are many worthy winners who are different from the usual winners whose MeDolls actually aren't that pretty, but then you get the odd finalist whose MeDolls are below average, and probably don't even look like they'd win NCG (no offence guys, it's just my opinion).
Inspired By The Elements: Water Outfits
Water is all about combining different shades of blue and white, as well as toning down the outfit with beige or brown. There are many items in the StarPlaza that give off a 'water' vibe to them, with fish scale dresses and water effect shoes.
Inspired By The Elements: Water Makeup
Above are just two of the many interesting combinations of makeup one can use to achieve a look inspired by water. It's important to use blues and whites, and remember to apply the basic rules of makeup too, such as; only make either your lips or eyes stand out. If you try to make both of them bright, you'll end up looking like you've been smashed in the face with a paint palette. The left look has vibrant eyes with natural lips, and the right one has mainly toned down everything, using minimal eyeliner and a dull lipstick.

Autumn Coats
Hey, so now the weather is getting colder, i thought i would do my first outfit tutorial on autumn coats. A few of my friends in real life have coats like these and i really love them, so i thought i would find stardoll autumn coats. The first coat is from original future and only costs 103 starcoins, i think this is a good price for this and i love the colours. The second coat is from decades and is only 6sd ,which is quite cheap and it is a classic style autumn/winter coat. The third coat is from fallen angel boys and is 10sd, which is alittle bit higher in price than the decades jacket, but i think its worth the money as you can wear it with many things. All 3 coats you could wear with jeans, boots and a plain/printed t-shirt.

Interview with Sophie(*puppyluver101*)
I'm in charge of interviews, and these will be up daily. I have decided to ask general questions about stardoll as well as some about our home club SBB (Stardoll By Barbie). Today I have interviewed Sophie, who came to SBC and SBB a while ago.
What is the main reason you come on stardoll? What do you like about it?
Because my life is boring and I have nothing better to be doing. It's where I met most of my close friends, even though a lot of them don't come online anymore I still come on.
What do you dislike about it?
The company itself just tries to get money out of children, taking advantage of them in a way. Some of the people on the site are just rude, and annoying as well so that's no good.
Where is your main club/clubs? Have you been to previous clubs?
Now I hang around in SBB. I have been in most clubs to be honest.
AT to AD to FC to HJ back to AD to MSW to SBC and now SBB
Yes, most of the clubs you've named have either been deleted or are dead. It's a shame.
During your time in different/one club, what would you say was the biggest drama/funniest event or happening?
Ah that's an easy one, people from MSW should remember this. It was when me and a few friends made the mswburnbook. We had people guessing for a while and it was hilarious hearing who they thought it was and how they over-reacted. We even managed to frame it on another person and there was this one girl who spent ages trying to find the evidence that it was her.
Good times.
Yes I remember that! It was very funny.
What is it that you like about coming to clubs such as SBB?
I don't know really, just talking to people I guess. I've met so many lovely people in SBB, despite that there are complete arse holes, the club is generally a nice place to be.
Who are your friends?
In SBB I'm guessing, so - Emma, Nikki, Cass, Sarah, and probably some other people. Not really sure.
How long have you been on stardoll?
6 years on the 15th.
What are some of your hobbies apart from the internet?
Well, most of them are the internet tbh.
But other than the internet, obsessing over bands, concerts, photography, reading, painting, drawing, listening to music, watching TV and avoiding any social opportunity.
Have you achieved anything on the site? What?
Quite a lot really.

Back in Time: 1920's Makeup
The short bob hairstyle was the craze of this decade, as were the thin dark red lips and grey smokey eyeshadow. Eyebrows were to be thin and not very shaped, and faces were to be quite pale in order to achieve the true flapper girl look.
Above is Louise Brooks, whom I have mentioned in a previous post. She's very iconic and many models now have cut their hair like hers since it's deemed to be very high fashion. Try looking at images of her for inspiration.

Inspired By The Elements: Fire Outfits

Covergirl Review: 13/10/12
Glorymac from Venezuela
Review-
Todays Covergirl is a girl from Venezuela. Her MeDoll is quite average looking I suppose, using common facial features and bland makeup with no definition on the cheeks. She's using some legs designed by Teusa, which I'm seeing more and more often on Stardoll. I don't think they match Glorymac's skin tone very well though. The outfit, made out of StarDesign hair, was designed by her, which I think is great because I love to see people being creative and wearing their own designs. The only problem I have with StarDesign hair outfits is that when you look around the many amazing rooms in her suite, her outfit stays the same, even when she's in the bathroom and you can see she did have another outfit underneath.
To summarise, I think today's Covergirl wasn't as good as others, but perhaps it will be a real worthy winner with a few minor tweaks.
Quick Rating Scale-
Facial Features: 3/5
Hair: 4/5
Makeup: 2/5

Back in Time: 1920's Outfits
THE ROARING TWENTIES
Velvet and satin were popular materials in the twenties, and they were also often used for hats. The most popular type of hat was the 'cloche' hat, as seen below on Louise Brooks, a famous model of the time.
Many people when they think of the twenties think of flapper girls, and it's said that this trend started when Coco Chanel put on a man's sweater and added a belt around her waist. And hats off to you Chanel, you've started one of the most memorable trends of your time!
Dresses and skirts came just below the knee, and although it's hard to find skirts like that on Stardoll, shopping around in Decades in the StarPlaza and StarBazaar might help. Colours weren't boring, they ranged from blue to red to green, as you can see in the top picture.
BRINGING THE TWENTIES TO STARDOLL-

Kusja
So this girl is famous on Stardoll for her inventive MeDolls, and I have to say that her current one is probably my favourite. I've worked out that a MeDoll such as the one above will probably set you back about 650sd, which for some people is a lot.
However, the girl behind the account makes a lot of money from selling her wig designs which, in my opinion, aren't that great. The highlights look tacky and the wigs just aren't as realistic as others I've seen, which is surprising. The biggest money maker would be the wig on the very right, it cost her a mere 35sd to make, yet she's selling it for 111sd. But of course, by the time I refreshed the page it had been sold.
What do you think about Kusja's wigs?
I personally don't think I'll ever buy one, nor do I want to.

Hot Buys Diamond Bandeau Dress - 21sd - Rio

I'm not a fan of the dress, purely since I don't tend to dress my MeDoll in dresses of that style, plus I'm not a fan of the diamond pattern or the pink, it reminds me of something you'd find in Wild Candy.
Nevertheless, I've put together a couple of outfits for you-

Back in Time: 1950's Makeup
The early fifties were all about formal hairstyles, usually with curly hair (rollers were a necessity!) and bright red lipstick with natural eyes. I've recreated this look using three models on Stardoll. It's really simple to do and looks great.
As we went into the later 1950's, women started to discover the wonders of winged eyeliner, with dramatic flicks paired with neatly shaped eyebrows and that iconic Marilyn Monroe inspired beauty mark.

Back in Time: 1950's
Fashion in the fifties were all about making the most of the figure you had. With many new women's styles trending, there were a variety of styles to suit and flatter every woman around.
Pencil skirts with a brightly coloured shirt.
Girls looking for an alternative to the iconic ‘pin-up’ style would opt for a softer version of the boys denim jeans and shirt.
Women looking for a more sophisticated look would opt for a two-piece suit and gloves.
And with all of these outfits, accessories were kept to a minimum. Back in the fifties, if you wanted jewellery you would usually go for a nice brooch or some fine earrings.
Vivienne Westwood Inspired Makeup
This is one of the many video makeup tutorials I make at Stardoll. I really love this one and I hope you do too. It's inspired by one of the models from the catwalks sporting Vivienne Westwood clothes at the London Fashion Week. It's quite out there, but I think my model really pulls it off.
Oh, and if you're wondering why it says 'anotherstardoll-blog.blogspot.com', it's because that's another blog I write for. You should go and check it out!

Nearly Two Hundred Million Members!
Wow, Stardoll really have come a long way since I joined all the way back in 2007.
I hope they do something great to celebrate this momentous achievement. Free items and a special Superstar pass would be great to see, though Stardoll has been getting stingier and stingier as the years pass by, so prepare to see some tacky clothes with the number 200,000,000 on them in my opinion.
Hot Buys Spike Earcuff - 5sd - Glam 'R Us
So this earcuff was released a couple of days ago and it's a steal at a mere five stardollars. It's definitely worth buying whether you're a HB collector, want to sell it on in the future, or just want to wear it. I don't see any downsides to this beautiful piece of jewellery, all I can say is that no hair must be covering the ear, or it'll go over the top of the hair.
Welcome To Punk!
Many people (particularly those across the pond) think that the fashion in Great Britain is all about punk. The above outfit is a milder version of punk, and I honestly love it. If you want to see some true punk fashion, click here and see if you can recreate it on Stardoll!
Nowadays, a lot of people are starting to adopt the vintage punk style as their everyday fashion with their oversized shirts and spiky jewellery. The Stardoll staff are even starting to catch onto this trend and you can find many oversized jumpers or shirts, as well as punk-style shoes in the shops or StarBazaars.
