THE ROARING TWENTIES
Velvet and satin were popular materials in the twenties, and they were also often used for hats. The most popular type of hat was the 'cloche' hat, as seen below on Louise Brooks, a famous model of the time.
Many people when they think of the twenties think of flapper girls, and it's said that this trend started when Coco Chanel put on a man's sweater and added a belt around her waist. And hats off to you Chanel, you've started one of the most memorable trends of your time!
Dresses and skirts came just below the knee, and although it's hard to find skirts like that on Stardoll, shopping around in Decades in the StarPlaza and StarBazaar might help. Colours weren't boring, they ranged from blue to red to green, as you can see in the top picture.

The full skirt shown in the last image and the fitted top in the first are far from 20's fashion, more 40s/50s.
